The Senate
Acts as the main student legislative body representing the student's voice, facilitates effective conversation, encourages debate, and provides updates on the school's critical aspects, including student life and wellbeing, infrastructure, student approval of events, etc.
-Meets twice every month in the Auditorium or other designated meeting space
-Comprised of 4 elected senators from each grade (16 total) and an elected Speaker of the Senate
-Note: Senators do not plan events, only debate about topics centering around student life and draft policy to fix issues
-Senate meetings may be suspended if 2/3 of the Senate vote to cancel a meeting
-Senate meetings are open for public comment by application only, with a total of 20 slots available per meeting (space permitting, application process to be made incredibly accessible)
-Ability to move to impeach any member from the Schoolwide SGA of their position including the Executive Branch, Executive Board, the Senate and its officers, and members of Class Councils with a 3/4 vote and approval from the SGA or Class Sponsor
-Senators are to be elected at the same time as traditional elections
Speaker of the Senate:
Elected by fellow class senators at the first Senate meeting, charged with leading bi-monthly Senate discussions and debate, submits policy proposals to EBoard and Exec members, the PTA, and admin, and provides updates on student life to SGA (Speaker is expected to be a class senator, though an outside candidate may be elected)

4 elected class senators per grade, represent class interests and voice in Senate discussion and debate, drafts policy and creates ideas
